Strawberry Point - Joy Ivan Wheeler, 65, died Monday at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors are his wife, Mildred; a son Dennis of Corvallis, Ore.; four stepdaughters, Janice Wubben of Salinas, Calif., Joan Walz of Lamont, Judy Fenton of Strawberry Point, and Holly Shannon of Fairband; two brothers, Archie Wheeler of Wadena and Francis Wheeler of Tenant, Iowa; a sister Sylvia Barker of Oelwein; a grandddaughter; and 12 step-grandchildren.

Services: Thursday, 10 a.m., United Methodist Church. Burial: County Corners cemetery, rural Strawberry Point, with military rites.
