GRAPES, HABER, QUITMEYER, HATCHER, BARRETT

Strawberry Point - Franklin Pierce Grapes, 78, died at his home here Monday after six years of failing health; son of Samuel and Hannah Grapes, he was born July 27, 1963 at Worthington, Ia. In 1889 he married Mary Elizabeth Haber. They were the parents of three children, Mrs. Myrtle Quitmeyer and Howard Grapes, Independence, Mo. and Mrs. Ida Hatcher, Mechanicsville. In July, 1926 he married Arminta Barrett, who survives, with three grandchildren. Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday at Methodist church with burial in County Corners cemetery
