MRS. ERNEST WERGER

Mrs. Ernest Werger Passes Away

Mrs. Ernest Werger died on April 30 at the age of 66 at Memorial Hospital in Prairie du Chien, Wis. Services were held from St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. L. C. Urlaub officiating. Burial was in the Garnavillo City Cemetery on May 4.

Surviving besides her husband are 1 daughter, Mrs. Dwayne (Vernell) Funk of Farmersburg; 1 son, Duane A. Werger of Independence; 7 grandchildren; 4 sisters: Mrs. Leo (Alvea) Miller of Elkader, Mrs. Arno (Leona) Glawe of Elkader, Mrs. Melvin (Rosena) Alderson of Strawberry Point & Mrs. Richard (Irene) Preble of Independence; & 3 brothers, Wesley & Harold Lenth of Farmersburg, & LeRoy Hardy of Arkansas.

Mrs. Werger is the daughter of Albert Lenth & Louise Gottschalk. She was born March 25, 1906 in Farmersburg. She was married on June 13, 1923 to Ernest Werger at Farmersburg.

Pallbearers were Bert Barry, Ronald Alderson, Ivon Ihlenfeldt, Gary Puffet, Richard Klinkenberg, & Deane Werger.
