W. Wettleson Passes
Funeral Held Today
Spent His Entire Lifetime in This Community.
Wettle Wettleson, 82, passed away at his home south of Postville on Sunday morning and funeral services are being held this afternoon in the Marion Lutheran Church.
A life long resident of Marion and Grand Meadow Townships, Mr. Wettleson was born March 26, 1859, son of Tov Wettleson. He received his education in the rural Pioneer Schools.
He was married to Miss Lena Alsaker on July 2, 1891, and to this union were born seven children, five of whom survive. Mrs. Wettleson passed away in 1903; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Ospand, passed away in 1937 and son Theodore was killed in action in France during the World War.
The surviving children are Robert Wettleson, on the home farm; Mrs. Christine Ryperstol near Gunder; Mrs. Valdine Nelson at Clermont, Iowa; Mrs. Lillian Solberg at Hawkeye, and Miss Julia Wettleson at home.
