Harlene Jane Young, 30, of Waterville, formerly of McGregor, IA died Friday, June 25, 1993 at Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital.

Harlene was born April 14, 1963 at Prairie du Chien, WI to parents Herman and Arlene Fish Jones. She attended school in the Waterville and Waukon area. She married Mark "Ed" Young on May 3,1986 in McGregor, IA.

She is survived by her husband Ed, two sons Juston and Jeramiah; three daughters Kristi, Heather and Hailie, all at home; her mother, Arlene Jones of Harpers Ferry, IA; six brothers, Harold Jones and Herman Jones of McGregor, IA, Harlan Jones, Henry Jones and Hal Jones of Marquette, IA; Howard Jones of Waukon Junction; eight sisters, Hilda King of Waukon, IA, Hope Garin of Monona, IA, Holly Wagner of Prairie du Chien, WI, Helen McGeough and Hattie Conway of Marquette, IA, Heather Neuhring of Lansing, IA, and Heidi Trotter.

Funeral services were held Monday June 28, 1993, 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in McGregor, IA with Fr. Robert Levenhagen officiating. Burial in the Rossville Cemetery, Rossville, IA.

Casketbearers were Mike McGill, Don Hand, Kenny Fish, Tim Bulman, Kenneth Byers and Todd Troester.

Arrangements were made by the Thornburg Funeral Home in McGregor, Iowa.
