Funeral services for a Farmersburg resident, Dale M. Ashline, 60, were conducted by the Rev. Rex Piercy at the Giard Methodist Church Nov. 17. Interment followed at the Taylorville Cemetery in Arlington.

Ashline died Nov. 15 at Memorial Hospital, Prairie du Chien, of an apparent heart attack. Survivors include his wife, Janet; 2 sons, Clifford Higgins of Cedar Rapids and LaVerne Barth of Pleasantville; 2 daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Marian) Buhr of Dallas; and Mrs. Robert (Janeta) Wagner of Monona; 5 grandchildren; a brother, Dean, of Briggsville, Wis.; and 2 sisters, Mrs. Bob (Gertrude) Morgan of Ft. Smith, Ark.; and Mrs. John (Shirley) Breitsprecher of Farmersburg.

Pallbearers were Bill Christianson, Les Fett, Robert Gerndt, Bob Grooin, Earl Davies, Jr., and Irvin Rualand. Honorary pallbearers were Art Harnack and Hubert Thein.
