Dewey Minney, 59, died Sunday at the McGregor Community Hospital following a several months illness.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning in St. Mary's church with the Rev. Francis Phelan officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Grove cemetery.

He was born October 24, 1897, at McGregor, a son of Edward and Rose Minney, and has always lived here.

For many years he was a salesman for the McGregor Wholesale' Grocery Co. until it was moved to Dubuque. He has recently been a salesman for Myzon stock food.

Some cousins are the only surviving relatives.
