MCMICHAEL, COWLES, MAYNARD

Mrs. Katherine McMichael, age 27 years, died yesterday at Argyll hotel, Alamo Heights, from consumption. The remains were sent to McGregor, Iowa.

~note: she is buried in Pleasant Grove cemetery, according to cemetery records, date of death was 11/15/1895

Elkader Register, Fri., 22 Nov. 1895. McGregor column.

Mrs. Will McMichael died at San Antonio, Texas, last Friday, and her husband came home with the remains for burial here beside her parents and little girl.

The funeral was held Monday afternoon, Rev. Marshall officiating, and a large concourse of friends gathered to do honor to one who had the love and respect of the entire community.

Her sisters were all here with their uncle C. W.
Cowles and aunt, Mrs. Maynard, of Chicago.
