Anna Letherman departed this life Saturday morning, July 4, 1908, at the age of eighty three years and four months. She had been a great sufferer for some time previous to her death and the final out-come though looked for was unexpected. The deceased was born at Cantonbern, Switzerland, and came to this country a number of years ago, and for some time past has been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Sam Schlupp, southeast of town. Mrs. Letherman has always lived an upright and God fearing life and besides her two daughters, Mrs. Sam Schlupp and Mrs. Andrew Baker, leaves many friends to mourn the loss of a true woman. Funeral services were conducted at the Apostolic church Monday afternoon and interment was made in the cemetery there.
