Mrs. Mary Fleming Dead
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rizer and daughter, Ruth, attended the funeral of their aunt Mrs. Mary Fleming at Edgewood Thursday at 1:30 o'clock. Her burial was made in Asbury cemetery between Edgewood and Elkport. Miss Mary Berry was born Sept. 13, 1859 on Bear Creek in Elk township, Clayton county. Her entire life was spent in this county. On April 11, 1880, she was united in marriage to Geo. Fleming. To this union four children were born all of whom died within a week of each other in 1897. Thirty-three years ago they moved to Edgewood where they have since resided. Mrs. Fleming is survived by an adopted daughter, Mrs. John Reedy of Pipestone, Minn. and one grandson, Earl Sterling of Edgewood.
