Aransas Pass - Funeral services for Herbert Henry Schwietert, 45, will be announced by Thornberg Funeral Home of McGregor, Iowa. Schwietert apparently was drowned during Hurricane Celia. The body was found washed ashore at Port Aransas last Tuesday morning. Schwietert, a commercial fisherman, had lived here since 1964.

McGregor - Services were held Wednesday afternoon for a former McGregor man killed by hurricane Celia Aug 3 in Aransas Pass, Texas. The victim was Herbert Schwietert, 45, a former resident of McGregor. He was found buried in rubble near Aransas Pass docks. Survivors include his mother, Hermine Schwietert and a brother Harry, both of McGregor; and three sisters from Texas, California and Kansas.
