Florence M. Johnson, age 63, of Lake Bronson, Minnesota died on Tuesday, June 9, 1992 of injuries she received in an automobile accident in Brooks, Alberta, Canada. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 13, 1992 at 2:30 in the Zion Lutheran Church at Lake Bronson. Interment was in the Riverside Cemetery at Lake Bronson. Rev. Cordell and Rev. Mary Strug presided. Casket bearers were Richard Levenhagen, Wade Levenhagen, Craig Levenhagen, Mitchell Karol, Luke Karol, and Mark Karol.

Florence was born on November 12, 1928 in Monona, Iowa to Fred and Clara (Kiester) Levenhagen. She moved to the Kennedy, Minnesota area in 1946 and in 1948 moved with her family to Lake Bronson, Minnesota. On August 10, 1950 she was united in marriage to Marvin Johnson at Lake Bronson. The couple settled in Percy Township of Kittson County and farmed there.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Patricia Johnson who died on December 1, 1973 and a sister Ruth.

Florence is survived by her husband, Marvin; 2 daughters, Susan (David) Leal of Buffalo, Minnesota, Tressa (Brian) Anderson of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, 2 sons, Frederick (Monica) Johnson of Lake Bronson, Minnesota and Al (Carol) Johnson, also of Lake Bronson, Minnesota; 11 grandchildren; 6 brothers, Charles Levenhagen, Gerhardt Levenhagen, and Willard Levenhagen all of Lake Bronson, Minnesota, Palmer Levenhagen of Anoka, Minnesota, Frederick Levenhagen of Blue Earth, Minnesota, and David Levenhagen of Ellsworth, Wisconsin; a sister, June (David) Karol of Roseau, Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews.
