Funeral services were held Monday, January 27 at 1:30 p.m. at the McGregor United Methodist Church for Kenneth Raymond Cahoon with the Revs. James and Shirley Rozendaal officiating. Burial was in the Council Hill Cemetery, rural McGregor, Iowa.

Kenneth Raymond Cahoon, age 83, died Friday, January 24, 1992 at the Memorial Hospital in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. Kenneth was born May 25, 1908 in Clayton County, Iowa in the Pleasant Ridge area to Raymond and Zelda (Denning) Cahoon. He attended school and farmed all of his life in the McGregor, Iowa area. He married Alberta Huff on October 3, 1928 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Alberta died in 1988. He was a member of the Bzer Lodge #135, A.F. & A.M. and the Eastern Star of McGregor, Iowa.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Nina Wilkins.

Kenneth is survived by one son, Delbert (Darlene) Cahoon of McGregor, Iowa and one daughter, Bonnie (Maurice) Meyer, also of McGregor; 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lelia Knight of Decorah, Iowa and Geneva Schlitter of Waukon, Iowa.
