Strawberry Point - Mrs. Roy Hines, 81, [died] suddenly at her home in Strawberry Point Friday.

Nee Nellie Letitia Pugh, born Mar. 19, 1873, in Lodomillo township, the daughter of Luther and Julia (Sousley) Pugh. In February, 1893, she was married to Alfred Kellogg, who died a number of years ago. On July 25, 1940 she was married to LeRoy Hines at Canton, Mo., and they have lived in Strawberry Point for the past 13 years. She was preceded in death by five daughters; leaves one daughter, Mrs. Josie Bauman, Waterloo; four sons, Johnnie, Clayton Center; Vern, Lamont, and Gordie and Dalton, of Cedar Rapids; four brothers, Wayne Pugh and Warren Pugh of Strawberry Point; Milo Pugh, in California, and Mark Pugh, Kent, Wash.

She was a member of the Methodist church and the Royal Neighbors of America. Funeral Monday at the Methodist church in Strawberry Point. Burial in Strawberry Point cemetery, with the Gill funeral service in charge of arrangements.
