The funeral of John Reichman, a pioneer of this place (North Buena Vista,
Clayton County, Iowa) who died while visiting at the home of his brother,
Dr. Philip J. Reichman, Jan. 10th, was held Thursday. The funeral was held
here in the Immaculate Conception Church, Rev. H. A. Holthaus officiating.
Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery. John Reichman was 64 years of
age and lived here most of his life on a farm. He is survived by a sister,
Mrs. Minnie Blauser of Minnesota City, Minn., and a brother Philip J.
Reichman of Hannibal, Mo. The pallbearers were John and Henry Engling,
Benjamin Klaas, Henry Wolter, Anthony Gerner, and Cora Noggle.--The Clayton County Register, Elkader, Iowa, Thursday, January 19, 1928, p.
