Tillie Halverson

Funeral services were held Monday at the Marion Lutheran Church for Mrs. Knut Halverson, 81, who passed away at the Postville Hospital last Wednesday. Rev. Stranjord was in charge of the rites.

Tillie (Olson) Halverson passed away at the Postville Hospital August 13, 1952, at the age of 81 years, eight months and 26 days. She was born in Marion township November 17, 1870 and lived in that community all her life.

On February 17, 1900 she was united in marriage to Knut Halverson and they lived on a farm south of Gunder until six years ago last November when they moved into Gunder.

She is survived by her husband, one sister, Bessie Olson of St. Olaf. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
