Quinton Alvin Clark, age 67, rural Postville, Iowa died November 16, 1986 at Central Community Hospital, Elkader, Iowa. Funeral services were held November 19 at Marion Lutheran Church, Gunder, Iowa with Rev. William Palmquist officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery at Gunder.

Quinton was born March 5, 1919 at Elkader, Iowa, the son of Alvin and Lena (Landsgard) Clark. He attended Postville High School. On August 17, 1940 he was married to Shirley Wells. He lived all his life in this area, running an oil station in Gunder and then farming on the home farm where he continued to live until his death. He was a life-long member of Marion Lutheran Church in Gunder.

He was preceded in death by his father in 1919, his step-father, Henry Nyhus, and his mother, Lena Nyhus on April 20, 1974.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley and their daughter, Mrs. Bryce (Sheila) Gause of Lynnville, Iowa.
