-The funeral services of the late Mr. Ben Cole, who died on Wednesday of last week, were held in the M.E. church last Friday afternoon, Rev. O. C. DePuy officiating and speaking words of comfort to the sorrowing ones. Mr. Cole has been a resident of Strawberry Point for a number of years and was highly esteemed by all. He had been a member of the school board for some time and the schools were dismissed at noon that the teachers and pupils might attend the services. The M. W. A. lodge, of which the deceased was a member attended in a body.
