Friday Service for Mrs. Emma J. Troup

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Jane Troup, 88, who died last Wednesday at the Onieda Rest Home, were held from the Gill Chapels here on Friday, Dec. 12 with Rev. Ben Shaw officiating.

Mrs. Troup was born on November 17, 1864 in Cedar Rapids. She was married to Jacob Troup who preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her death two sons, Roy of Strawberry Point and Vern who is superintendent of schools in Clarksville, Iowa. She also leaves one daughter Goldie Fry of Strawberry Point.
