Funeral services for Martin "Marty" Granville Franck, age 3, were held on Tuesday, May 23 at 1:30 p.m. at the Trinity Methodist Church in Hazelton, Iowa with the Rev. Robert Swanson officiating. Burial was in the Strawberry Point, Iowa Cemetery. Casket bearers were Vaylord Brooks, Wayne Mielke, Dean Mielke, and Jerry Wilson.

Martin Granville Franck was born March 23, 1958 at Oelwein, Iowa to Donald and Evelyn (Sargent) Franck. He died on May 20, 1961 at the family home after choking on a marble.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nellie (Jewett) Sargent.

He is survived by his parents, Donald and Evelyn Franck, his paternal grandparents, George and Mabel Franck, his maternal grandfather, Harford Sargent; 7 brothers, Keith Roberts, Donald Dean, Charles Alan, Kevin Eugene, Roger Kent, Russell Wayne, and Michael Anthony Franck; and 4 sisters, Linda Lee, Bobbi Jo, Doreen Lynn, and Donnette Kay Franck, all at home.
