Funeral services were held Monday, September 4, 1989 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Monona, Iowa for Catherine (Maloney) Kohler. Father Moran officiated and burial was in the church cemetery. She died Wednesday, August 30, 1989 in South Milwaukee, WI where she resided.

She was born February 9, 1913 in Allamakee County, Iowa to John and Martha (Rupp) Maloney. October 8, 1936 she married Raymond Kohler of Monona and they farmed in the Monona area.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jeffrey (Ann Marie) Nade of Mundelein, IL, and Mrs. Jerome (Margaret) Luczyrvko of South Milwaukee; five grandchildren, Jennifer and Mike Nade, and Patty, Danny, and Katie Luczyrvko, and a sister,, Mrs. Ira (Irene) Moody of McGregor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter Mary Ann, in infancy; a son Dan; two sisters, Mrs. Lloyd (Mary) Campbell and Mrs. Robert (Beatrice) Armsby, and three brothers, Thomas, Emmett, and Donald Maloney.

Casket bearers were Mike Nade, Danny Luczyrvko, Randy Palas, Vincent Ambrose, Gary Gilbertson, and Gordon Gilbertson.
