Grace Stella Donnan

Funeral services were held for Grace Stella Donnan, 92, Guttenberg, Friday, March 20, 1992, at United Methodist Church, Guttenberg. Rev. L. R. Lechner officiated the service with burial in Goshen Cemetery, rural Millville. Pallbearers were Jerry Eberhardt, Jim and Ken Hoeger, Mick Keeley, Leonard W. Donnan and Scott Jensen.

Grace Stella Donnan was born January 27, 1900, in Millville, the daughter of John and Sarah (Minger) Smith. On February 28, 1923, she married Homer Donnan. He died April 14, 1938. She was employed with the American Pearl Button Co. and Muters, both of Guttenberg. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Grace Donnan died March 17, 1992, at the Guttenberg Care Center.

Survivors include her children, Mrs. Floyd (Myrna) Eberhardt, Garnavillo, and a son, Leonard "Pete" Donnan, North Liberty; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; one daughter, Leila Wilke on April 19, 1977; three sisters and four brothers.
