Hattie David Services Held

Funeral services for Hattie David were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 23, 1980 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona, with Pastor R. D. Ehlers officiating. Pallbearers were George Wilker, Norbert Fritz, Lloyd Russell, and Herbert Lenth. Burial was in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Schultz's Funeral Home was in charge of services.

Hattie David was born August 1, 1892, at Guttenberg. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith at Guttenberg, where she also attended school.

She trained as a nurse at Postville. In 1968 she moved to Minneapolis and continued her nursing career on a part time basis.

She died Tuesday, May 20, 1980 after an extended illness. Preceding her in death were her parents, a sister Agnes, a brother Herbert.

Surviving her are her son, Reuben, and his wife, Dona; two grandchildren; her sister, Mrs. Melbert (Bertha) Folsom of St. Cloud, Minnesota, and a brother, Alfred of Monona. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.
