Roland McNally Memorial Rites

Memorial services for Roland Louis McNally were held Saturday, Nov. 7, 1981 at 11 a.m. at the Community Presbyterian Church in Postville. The Reverend Dennis E. Morey officiated. The Schutte Funeral Service of Postville was in charge of arrangements.

Roland Louis McNally, son of Leo and Violet (Heins) McNally, was born August 22, 1939 on a farm in Clayton County, Iowa. He died November 5, 1981 at his home near Postville.

He attended the Pixler School in Clayton County. July 7, 1963 he was married to Beverly Meisner at Strawberry Point. To this union two children were born. They farmed in the Gunder and Postville area.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Louis Heins and paternal grandparents, Richard and Flora McNally.

Surviving besides his wife, Beverly, are a son, Jeffrey, and a daughter, Julie, both at home, his parents, his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Roma Heins, Guttenberg, three brothers, Thomas, New Florence, PA; Theodore, Monona; and L. Randy, Kelley; and a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Norma) Ball, Mt. Horeb, WI; and eight nephews and nieces.

Rollie loved the outdoors and spent time hunting and fishing.
