MONONA: Funeral services for Nick Miller, 72, of Giard, were held in St. Mary's Catholic Church in McGregor on Friday morning, Aug. 4, 1972 at 10:30 a.m.

Father Karl Klein officiated and St. Mary's choir provided the music. Burial took place in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery.

Nick Miller was born September 26, 1899 and died suddenly in his home on Tuesday afternoon, August 1, 1972.

He was a retired roofer and interior decorator for many years.

He was married to Marcella Welch who survives along with a brother, Arthur Meyer of Holy Cross and a sister, Mrs. Eldo Meyer of Elkader and several nieces and nephews.

Schultz Funeral Home of Monona was in charge.

Pallbearers were LaVerne Meyer, Robert Meyer, Wayne Welch, Ralph Welch, Curtis Welch and William Meyer.
