Kate Eibel Dies At Chicago, IIllinois, 1946

Mrs. Kate Eibel, 84, a former resident of this community for a number of years, died suddenly Thursday, Dec. 19, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Householter, in Chicago, Illinois.

Preceding her in death were four sisters, Emma Ziegler and Mrs. Roy Tapper of Monona, Mrs. Henry Wilke of Postville, and Margaret; five brothers, George, Charles, Henry, Christopher, and Albert Ziegler; and her husband.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Carl Rundquist of Fairfield, and Mrs. Fred Seeman, Mrs. Thomas Grady, and Mrs. Walter Householter of Chicago; two grandsons; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Richard (Flora) McNally of Postville; a brother-in-law, Roy Tapper of Monona, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. E. J. Haag of Monona.

Postville, Iowa newspaper of the time clipping, hand dated 1946, from my mother's obituary collection. Posted for genealogical purposes, contributor is not related.
