IN LOVING MEMORY
Lillian Anna Vogt was born February 4, 1903, at
Clayton Center, the daughter of Frederick W. and Amelia (Seifert Vullgraf) Vogt and the granddaughter of Rev. F. W. Seifert. She attended school in Clayton Center and completed her education in Farmbersburg.

On May 2, 1931, she graduated from Matthews Hair Dressing Academy, Dubuque.

She and her first husband, Henry Donald Oelke, were the parents of two daughters, Mrs. Avron (Marinette) Oleson, Elkader, and Mrs. Kenneth (Donna) Radloff, Farmersburg.

On May 16, 1934, she was married to Theodore W.
Glawe in Decorah. They farmed near Farmersburg until 1948 when they retired to Elkader. Mr Glawe died April 24, 1979.

Mrs. Glawe was a member and past president of the
Elkader VFW and a member of the Zion LCW. She died Thursday evening, August 28, at the Elkader Care Center where she had resided since 1980.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Marion; three half-brothers, Harold Vullgraf, Fred and Arthur Vogt; and five half-sisters, Mrs. Fred (Ella) Lahrs, Mrs. George (Linda) Kelpein, Mrs. Louis (Adelia) Radloff, Mrs. Ed (Ina) Glawe, and Mrs. Paul (Leona) Haverland.

In addition to her daughters, she is survived by a step-son, Vernon Glawe, Monona; seven grandchildren, Judy Moyna and Kathy Nesteby Elkader, Lois Wood, Garnavillo, David and Paul Moritz, Lansing, Mary Anderson, Waukon, and Kathy Beardmore, Wahpeton, N.D.; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Gram and Ted spent much of their time caring for their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
