Funeral services were held Sunday, March 4, 1962, for Mrs. Louis Radloff, Clayton Center, at the Zion Lutheran Church, Clayton Center at 2 p.m. with the Rev. J. H. Zerhusen officiating. Burial was in the, Clayton Center cemetery.
Pallbearers were Reuben Glawe.P ; Freddie Lahrs, Carl Mueller, George Lemke, Harold McMillin, and Ervin Huebner.
Adele Wilhemine Vogt Radloff, daughter of Friedrich and Lena Vullgraf Vogt, was born Sept. 21, 1886, in Read Township, Clayton County ;Iowa, and died at her home in Clayton Center Wednesday, Feb. 28, 1962 from a coronary.
She had been in fair health before her death.She was baptized April 17, 1887, and confirmed April 8, 1900, by the Rev. F. W. Seifert and received her eduation in the rural school.
She was married to Louis C. Radloff at her home in Clayton Center July 20, 1905.
Mrs. Radloff was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Raymond, a granddaughter, Mrs. Arthur (Luella) Boland, three sisters, Mrs. Ed (Ina) Glawe, Mrs. George (Linda) Kelpein and Mrs. Paul (Leona) Haverland and a half-sister, Marian Vogt. She is survived by her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Leslie (Annice) Halverson, Manchester; Mrs. Edmund (Ruby) Kadlec, Milwaukee, Wis.; and Mrs. Fred (Ilene) Stendel, St. Olaf; one sister, Mrs. Fred Lahrs, Elkader; two brothers, Fred and Arthur Vogt, Clayton Center; one half-sister, Mrs. Theodore Glawe, Elkader, 5 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
