Miss Jane Elsa Pahlas, born October 1919, Dubuque, died on December 15, 1979, at the Fulton County Hospital, Salem, Ark. Services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 11 a.m. at the Witt Funeral Home. Rev. Marvin H. Marcks will officiate and burial will be at the East Side Cemetery.

Services for Jane Pahlas, 60, were conducted on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 1979 by Marvin Marcks at Witt Chapel. Burial was at the East Side Cemetery. Pallbearers were John M. Pahlas, Richard C. Pahlas, David M. Pahlas, Thomas G. Pahlas.

Jane Elsa Pahlas, the daughter of the late Henry and Bertha Pahlas, was born in Dubuque, Iowa, on October 28, 1919 and died December 15 1979 at Fulton County Hospital, Salem, Arkansas.

She was raised and educated in Dubuque. She lived her parents until 1966 when she entered the Gold Age Home in Brandon, Iowa. She spent a year and a half in the Clayton County Care Facility and then movd to a Senior Citizens home near Horseshow Bend, Arkansas, to be close to her brother. She enjoyed doing fancy work throughout her life. She was baptized as an infant in the Presbyterian Church in Dubuque.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by one brother, Harold Pahlas of Horseshow Bend, Arkansas, and one aunt, Carrie Meisner of Elkader.
