MONONA, Iowa --- Services for Susan Lea (Huff) Luster, 37, of Round Lake Beach, Ill., formerly of Monona, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Garden City United Methodist Church, Monona.
Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Schultz Funeral Home, Monona.
Mrs. Luster, who was born at Waukon, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1987, at the Naval Hospital, Great Lakes, Ill., after a long illness.
Surviving are her husband, Lt. Cmdr. Harry Luster; a son, Shawn and two daughters, Dawn and Janelle, all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Huff of Monona; two brothers, Fred and Courtney Huff, both of Monona; and three sisters, Mrs. Dyane Schutte and Mrs. Wendy Wolter, both of Monona, and Mrs. Melody Kishman of Farmersburg.

Susan Lea Luster died Tuesday January 27, 1987 at the Naval Hospital in Great Lakes, Illinois as a result of metastatic choriocarcinoma. She was born September 2, 1949 in Waukon, Iowa, Allamakee County to Everett and Dorothy (Seitz) Huff. She attended elementary school in the Allamakee Community School District. She graduated from MFL (Monona-Farmersburg-Luana) High School in 1967. On October 4, 1969 she married Larry Luster at the Methodist Church in Monona, Iowa. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling, photography, needlepoint, collecting spoons, and scuba diving.
Casket bearers were John Luster, Danny Echard, Dale Echard, Delbert Cahoon, Jim Boland, and Jerry Seitz.
Additional survivors were her parents-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. David Holroyd, sister-in-law Mrs. Norma Dahlstrom of Monona, Iowa and 13 nieces and nephews.

There is a typo in the above addition to the obituary for Susan Lea Huff Luster. She married Harry Luster, not Larry. She was my mother.Dawn D Luster Phelps
