Funeral Services for Carl L. Lange, 88, were held at the Schumaker Kish Funeral Home in LaCrosse, WI. Rev. Joseph Lukonic officiated. Interment was in the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum, Morman Coulee Memorial Park.

He died Monday, June 6, 1988 in Hillview Home. He was born Aug. 11, 1899 in Froelich, Iowa to Frederick and Lena (Borcherding) Lange. he married Elda L. Wickersheim on December 31, 1921 in Giard, Iowa.

He was co-owner and operator of the Lange and Popenfuss Plumbing and Heating Co. of LaCrosse for 30 years. He retired in 1976. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.

Survivors are his wife, a daughter, Grace Peterson of Milwaukee, 2 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a brother, Wesley Lange of Monona.

He was preceded in death by a brother.
