Funeral services were conducted by his pastor, the Rev. Vance R. Knutsen, Wednesday, May 2, at the Witt Chapel in Elkader and in the Highland Lutheran Church. The pall bearers were Oscar Benson, Glen Larson, Louis Gregorson, Lucian Donlon, Leo Boland and William Torkelson. He was buried in the Highland Lutheran cemetery.
