Thomas Geraghty Funeral Services

Funeral services for Thomas Edward Geraghty, 81, of McGregor were held Monday morning, Nov. 22, at 10 o'clock at St. Patrick's Catholic church with Father William J. Menster officiating at the mass. Burial was in St. Patrick's cemetery.

Mr. Geraghty died Thursday, Nov. 18. He was born a son of John R. and Ann Geraghty on July 23, 1884, at Monona.

He and three of his brothers, John J., Michael, and Joseph, were World War I veterans. Thomas belonged to the 281st Aero squadron.

Preceding him in death were his parents, one sister, Katherine, and seven brothers. Surviving is one brother, Edward of McGregor; a niece, Mrs. Don Peverill, a nephew, Emmett Geraghty, both of Waterloo, and nephew, Roger Geraghty of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The American Legion posts of Monona and McGregor provided a military escort at the services and conducted the rites at the grave.

Pallbearers were Chet Saeugling, Alex Pryslupski, H. T. Orr, William Luther, George Balekos, Sr., and Fred J. Peglow.
