Funeral services for Otto Frank Fascher were held Saturday, Jan. 9, 11 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, Farmersburg. Rev. Al Hock officiated. Burial was in the Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery. Schultz's Funeral Home, Monona, was in charge of services.

Otto was born July 7, 1910, the son of Fredrick and Martha Kuhse Fascher, in Farmersburg, Iowa. He was baptized and confirmed in St. John's Lutheran Church, Farmersburg. He received his education in Farmersburg. He served as a director of the Farmersburg School, as a council member of St. John's Lutheran Church and as a director of the Clayton County Farm Bureau.

June 4, 1935, he married Ardee LeHew at Waukon Junction. The couple farmed in the Farmersburg area.

He died January 6, 1988 at Memorial Hospital in Prairie du Chien, WI, after a brief illness. Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, Ewald and a sister, Adele Lenth.

Surviving is his wife, Ardee, a brother, Orlando, Farmersburg, 2 sisters, Elsie Sanger and Eleanor Wilkinson, both of Dubuque.

Pallbearers were Chuck Shekleton, Ken Keehner, Lew Schrandt, Larry Kurth, John Boardman and Dick Boardman.
