Funeral services were held for Clark Herman Kruse, 55, Wednesday, Sept. 23, 1992, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Garnavillo. Rev. Thomas Jones officiated the service with burial in the Garnavillo City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Chad and Kyle Kruse, and Brenden, Bradley, Brian and Shane Harbaugh.

Clark Herman Kruse, son of Alfred and Anita (Hakert) Kruse, was born March 4, 1937, near Garber, Iowa. He grew up and was educated in the area, attending rural Clayton County schools. He was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church at Elkport. He presently was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Garnavillo. He farmed in the Garber area until moving to Guttenberg in 1989. Clark Kruse died suddenly Sunday, Sept. 20, 1992.

Survivors include two brothers, Curtis of Calmar and Clyde of Garber; a sister Arlene (Mrs. Carrol) Harbaugh of Elkader; nine nephews and two nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
