Larry Wayne Olson

Larry Wayne Olson, 38, of rural Postville, died suddenly Thursday, February 14 at Lutheran Hospital, LaCrosse, WI.

Services were held Monday, February 18, 1991, 1 p.m. at Thornburg Funeral Home, McGregor. Rev. Lloyd Helland officiated. The soloist, JoAnn Strutt was accompanied by organist Dorothy Huebsch. Interment was in Moody Cemetery, rural McGregor. Thornburg Funeral Home, McGregor, was in charge of arrangements.

Larry Wayne Olson, son of Laurence and Marie Olson, was born April 17, 1952 in Prairie du Chien, WI. He graduated from MFL High School.

He married Marie Fite on August 20, 1976 at Waukon, IA. They farmed for Virgil Martins for over 7 years, and later farmed for themselves.

He is preceded in death by his father Laurence and one brother.

Surviving are his wife, Marie; a daughter, Charlotte; a son, Laurence; his mother, Marie, of Postville and a half-brother, Wayne Olson of Dubuque.

Pallbearers: Joe Quandahl, Dwight Bacon, Frank O'Neil, Richard Quandahl, Virgil Martins, Richard Fite.
