NORTHWOOD, March 14.—Funeral services for Mrs. H. D. Bottleman, 63, were held Wednesday afternoon at Zion Lutheran church with the Rev. E. W Kraemer in charge. Mrs. Bottleman died at her home Sunday after extended ill health, heart disease being the immediate cause of her death.
Born April 7, 1871, in Germany, she came to America when a small child with her parents. She was married Dec. 12, 1893, to Herman D. Bottleman. They lived on a farm near Elkport until 1901, then moved to Worth county, living on a farm near Northwood. In 1921 they moved to Northwood.
Surviving are her husband and seven children - Mrs. Jake Jaspers. John and Elmer
Bottleman. Northwood; Charles Bottleman and Mrs. Minnie Monro, Charles City; Mrs. Marie Anderson.
Ellendale. N. Dak. and Leonard Bottleman, West Bend. Wis. One son William died on March 10, 1910. Two grandchildren are living. There are five brothers, one of whom. William Gentz, lives near Northwood.Mason City Globe-Gazette - 14 March 1935
