Funeral Services For Mrs. Radloff Held Sunday

VOLGA: Mrs. Georgia Melvina Radloff was the daughter of William & Sarah Jane Dinges, born May 21, 1874, at Osterdock. She was united in marriage to Herman Radloff at Caseville, Wis., Sept. 18, 1897. They have lived in the community of Volga for many years.

Mrs. Radloff died on the evening of March 15, 1944 at the age of 69 years. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, nine sisters and one brother, her husband, three sons and four daughters. Those who remain are five daughters & two sons: Mrs. Gus Kuhse, Elkader; Mrs. Henry Ewing, Buena vista; Mr. Fred Christeleit, Denver col.; Mrs. Fred Meyer, Postville; Mrs. LeRoy Beckman, Dubuque; Owen Radloff, Volga City, and Rialto Radloff, McGregor. There are 20 grandchildren, also one sister, Mrs. Pierce of Osterdock and a number of other relatives.

Mrs. Radloff was a member of the Lutheran church. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 19, in the Volga Presbyterian church, in charge of the Rev. Russell P. Nelson, pastor. Two musical numbers, “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere” and “In the Garden” were sung by Albert Kunzman and Clarence Kohls, and accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Kohls.

Casket bearers were Wm. J. Wilker, Wm. Christeleit, Joe Kluth, Ira C. Moore, Wm. C. Goodin and H. L. Rogers. Burial was in the family lot at Clayton Center.
