Funeral services were held for Andrea "Andy" Mae Meyer, 33, Wednesday, April 15, 1992, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Guttenberg. Father Paul Peters officiated the service with burial in Mount Harmony Cemetery, rural Elkport. Pallbearers were Neal Meyer, Wayne Coonfare, Harold Beck, Bob Beck, Ron Averkamp and Travis Coonfare.
Andrea Mae Meyer was born December 6, 1951, at Chicago, Ill., daughter of David and Jean (Tysko) Shibley. She received her GED in 1989 in Elkader. On July 8, 1978, she was united in marriage to Allan R. Meyer at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Guttenberg. She worked at the Guttenberg Care Center for two years as a Certified Nurses Aid. For the past couple of weeks she had been employed at Products Unlimited in Guttenberg. Andrea Meyer died Friday, April 10, 1992, as a result of a car accident.
Survivors include her husband Allan; son Daniel; daughter Davean; mother Jean Shibley of Ladysmith, Wis.; brother Forrest Shibley of Charleston, West Va.; and a sister Mrs. Hank (Kathy) Fraley of Gaithersburg, Md.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Shibley.

Andrea "Andy" Meyer, 33, of Elkport died Friday, April 10, 1992, as a result of a car accident on Highway X3C near Elkport.
Services will be conducted by Father Paul Peters at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Guttenberg.
Burial will be in Mount Harmony Cemetery, rural Elkport, with the following pallbearers: Neal Meyer, Wayne Coonfare, Harold Beck, Bob Beck, Ron Averkamp and Travis Coonfare.
Andrea Mae Meyer was a daughter of David and Jean (Tysko) Shibley and was born Dec. 6, 1958, in Chicago. She received her GED in 1989 at Elkader. She was married July 8, 1978, at St. Mary Church to Allan R. Meyer, who survives. She worked at the Guttenberg Care Center for two years as a certified nurses aid and more recently at Products Unlimited, Guttenberg.
Surviving besides her husband, Allan, are one son, Daniel, and one daughter, Davean, both at home; her mother, Jean Shibley of Ladysmith, Wis.; her mother-in-law, Marcella Meyer of Guttenberg; one brother, Forrest Shibley of Charleston, W. Va., and one sister, Mrs. Hank (Kathy) Fraley of Gaithersburg, Md.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation was at the Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home.
