IOWA DEATHS

Manchester - Fred Timm, 80, a lifelong resident of Clayton and Delaware counties, of a heart attack Thursday, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L.C. Frentress; son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian Timm, he was born in Germany Jan. 20, 1865; at the age of six he came to the United States with his parents and located near Guttenberg in Clayton county, Iowa; Dec. 24, 1890, he married Miss Savilla J. Bretz at Millville; their married life was spent on farms in Clayton and Delaware counties; Mrs. Timm died July 4, 1929; leaves four children: Mrs. Jennie Frentress, Manchester; Seth C., Clinton; Fred B., Algona and Mrs. Nona Sias, Minneapolis, Minn.; five grandchildren; one brother, Charles, in North Dakota, and a sister, Mrs. Emma DeSotal, Postville; preceded in death by two sisters and one brother; member of Methodist church and the Masonic lodge; body at the Platt funeral home.
