Services for Timmerman
Services for Harry Timmerman were held Saturday, September 17, 1983 at 10:30 a.m. at Schultz's Funeral Home, Monona, with Rev. Carroll Brown officiating. Pallbearers were Jason Ferguson, Donald Topel, David Trappe, Roger Bechtell, Jim Moose, and Kevin Timmerman. Burial in the Council Hill Cemetery.
Harry Henry Timmerman, the son of William and Hermina (Witt) Timmerman, was born September 27, 1905 in Linton Township, Allamakee County, Iowa. He was baptized on April 12, 1906 by Rev. H. Haag at the Methodist Church. He received his education in the rural school of the area. During his life he was a farm laborer.
Harry died Wednesday, September 14, 1983 at Veterans Hospital, Waukon, Iowa. He reached the age of 77 years, 11 months, 17 days.
Preceding him in death were his parents and three brothers, Henry, Grover, and Herman.
Surviving are four brothers, Fred of Howell, Michigan, Theodore, Frank and Willis of Monona, Iowa; four sisters, Anne Ferguson, Selda Topel, both of Waukon, Iowa, Emma Snitker of Frankville, and Mabel Kruse of Monona, nieces and nephews.
