Rebecca Dysart
Rebecca Ann Dysart was born the daughter of James and Donna (Cain) Dysart February 20, 1960 in Killeen, TX. She was called home to her Lord and Savior Thursday, April 24, 2008. Arrangements were handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home & Cremation of Garnavillo. A prayer service led by Sister Suzanne Gallagher was held Sunday, April 27 at the funeral home in Garnavillo.
Rebecca was raised and educated in Killeen, TX. She will be missed by her daughter, Ashley Scotti of Marquette; her fiance, Paul Gallagher, and his son, Paul, Jr.; two sisters, Leah Garcia and Keisha Snyder; one brother, James Dysart; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
For many years Rebecca worked as a caregiver for the disabled in Texas, and here in Iowa at G&G Living Centers. She was also a truck driver and equipment operator, which delighted and challenged her. Rebecca enjoyed sewing, gardening, house plants and remodeling her home.
Rebecca treasured Ashley and cherished her fiance as a soul mate who gave her a sense of her true beauty and worth. Suffering in her early life created in her a deep compassion as well as an intense sense of justice which impacted the lives of those she served at G&G and her team at Pattison Sand Mine, where she had a motherly affection for each individual.

I knew her mostly as a child. She was a lot of fun..I got to see her as an adult a couple of times and she was very beautiful outside as well as inside. I will always remember her kindness. Collin
