Milton William Gosting, for 30 years a resident of Joplin and operator of the Gosting Studios, 405 1/2 Main street, died at 3:15 o'clock yesterday afternoon in Joplin General Hospital. He had been ill 24 hours after suffering a heart atack at his home Monday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Gosting operated a photographic studio here for many years. Mrs. Gosting survives.
Mr. Gosting was born April 21, 1871 at Strawberry Point, Ia. Besides his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Gosting of the home on the North Main street road, survivors include a brother, Henri Gosting of Kansas City and three sisters, Mrs. George Nettleman of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Grace Applegate and Mrs. James Crawford, both of St. Louis.
Mr. Gosting was a member of the Scottish Rite and of A.F. & A.M. lodge 345. Funeral services will be under direction of the Hurlbut Undertaking Company.
