Betty L. Reynolds

Betty L. Reynolds, 79, of 1695 Mount Pleasant St., died Monday, March 10, at Stonehill Care Center.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 13, at Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road. Burial will be in Dubuque Memorial Gardens, south of Dubuque. Friends may call after noon Thursday, March 13, at the funeral home.

She was born on July 11, 1928, in Garber, daughter of Ray and Mary Louise (Louva) Smith. She married Willard W. Reynolds, in 1948, in Rock Island, Ill.; he preceded her in death in 1998.

Betty was a homemaker. She resided in Hazel Green, Wis., for 37 years before moving to Dubuque in 1996.

She was a member of United Methodist Church in Hazel Green.

Betty was a caring and supporting grandmother who loved her grandchildren very much.

Surviving are her son, David Reynolds; two grandsons, David and Frank Cramer; two sisters, Ruth (Vincent) Combs and Jean (Donald) Geuder; close friends, William Cramer, Carmen and Richard Burds; and her former daughter-in-law, Hildegaard Nixon.

She also was preceded in death by four brothers, Francis, Lloyd, Keith and Asa Smith; and two sisters, Donna Mae Trudeau and Margaret Johannsen.
