WILLIAM C. (Mike) REARDON

Funeral services for William C. Reardon were held Saturday, Jan. 27 at Schultz's Funeral Home at 11 a.m.; Rev. Ben Davis officiated. Burial was in the Farmersburg-Wagner cemetery, Farmersburg. Schultz's Funeral Home, Monona was in charge of services.

William C. (Mike) Reardon was born Sept. 26, 1902, in Farmersburg, IA to parents Edward and Ida Freeman Reardon. He received his education in Farmersburg school.

On Dec. 1, 1922 William married Gladys Oina Mathews at Giard Methodist Church, Giard. The couple had 3 children. They made their home in Farmersburg for 40 years. He retired Dec. 1, 1964.

He died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 1990 at Mercy Hospital, Davenport, IA.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Gladys, who died June 22, 1985 and 2 brothers, LeRoy and Ralph.

Surviving are a son, William E. of Farmersburg; 2 daughters, Mrs. Delos (Shirley) Hamann of Guttenberg and Mrs. Kermit (Sandra) Hanson of Bettendorf; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and one sister, Helen Oelke of McGregor.

Pallbearers were grandsons: Mark and Michael Reardon and Dan, Tom and Bill Hanson.
