Services Held For Mrs. Krambeer
Mrs. Clara Krambeer, 64, died suddenly Christmas Eve at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Myron Krambeer in Ossian, as the result of a heart attack.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday in Monona and in the Lutheran church at Luana. Burial was in Goodin cemetery. The Rev Paul W. Adix of Luana officiated. As Miss Clara E. Henkes she was born July 7, 1885, in Wagner township, Clayton county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Henkes. She was married August 25, 1903 to John J. Krambeer. Her husband died in September, 1947. Her parents, two sons and three sisters also preceded her in death.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Edna) Ihde, Mrs. Fred (Lorene) Nevermann, both of Monona, Mrs. Robert (Irma) Meyer and Mrs. Louis L. (Luelle) McNally of Postville; five sons, Harold and Lester Krambeer of Farmersburg, Gerald and Burnell Krambeer of Monona and Myron Krambeer of Ossian. Also surviving are a sister and a brother, Mrs. Fred (Lottie) Kurth of Mason City and Howard Henkes of Harpers Ferry, and her grandsons and granddaughters.
Mrs. Krambeer has cared for one granddaughter, now six years old, since the child was four weeks old.
Mrs. Krambeer moved to Ossian in November, 1947, and had since lived there.
