Rites For Mrs. Myron Krambeer
Mrs. Myron Krambeer passed away suddenly at her home in Ossian about 5:00 a.m. September 5, 1961 at the age of 52 years. She apparently suffered a heart condition and enjoyed good health until the time of her death.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, September 8, 1961 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ossian Lutheran Church by the Rev. Walter Pfeffer, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church of Castalia. Burial was in the Postville cemetery.
As Mae McNally, she was born July 25, 1900 at Postville, a daughter of Richard and Flora McNally. She obtained an education by attending the rural schools near her home in Grand Meadow township.
On January 3, 1932, she married Myron Krambeer at West Union. They farmed in this area for a number of years, and also lived in the west before settling in Ossian 17 years ago.
Mrs. Krambeer is survived by her mother, Mrs. Flora McNally of Postville; her husband Myron and six children, Beverly, Mrs. Nanferd Meyer of Castalia, Cleone, Mrs. William Schissel of Ossian, Merlin Krambeer of East Boston, Massachusetts, Sharon Mae and Carol Ray at home, and Sandra, Mrs. Alvin Behn of Decorah; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Trudo of Clermont and Mrs. Millard Mork of Alamogordo, New Mexico; three brothers, Richard McNally, Louis McNally and Leo McNally of Postville. She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers.
