Funeral services for Kimberly Kay Jackson were held Thursday, Dec. 18 at 3 p.m. in Norway Lutheran Church, St. Olaf. The Rev. William Palmquist officiated. The Schutte Funeral Service of Postville was in charge of arrangements. Interment was in the Norway Cemetery.
Kimberly Kay Jackson, daughter of David Zeitler and Eva (Gordon) Peterson was born May 15, 1965 in Moline, Illinois. She died Dec. 15, 1986 at the Delaware County Memorial Hospital, Manchester, IA.
She attended Erickson Grade School in Moline, Illinois and Kanawha High School in Kanawha, Iowa.
She is preceded in death by a sister, Suzan Marie, and maternal grandparents, Eugene and Lela Gordon, and a paternal grandfather, John Zeitler.
Surviving is a daughter, Sylvia Jackson, her mother and stepfather, Eva and Dean Peterson, St. Olaf; her father, David Zeitler, Red Bud, Illinois; 3 brothers, Brian and Leslie Zeitler, St. Olaf, Gary Zeitler, Kanawha, IA; a paternal grandmother, Eva Zeitler, Sherrard, Illinois; a maternal grandmother, Sandra Gordon, and step grandparents, Orville and Helen Peterson, St. Olaf.
Casket bearers were Steve Schuety, Jim Berg, Jim Gordon, Larry Landsgard, Carl Frank and Jason Gordon.

ST. OLAF WOMAN KILLED
Kimberly Jackson, 21, of St. Olaf was killed in an automobile accident in Delaware County Monday at 9:45 a.m. She failed to stop at a stop sign at Highway 3, went into the ditch and crashed into an embankment.
Her mother is Eva Peterson of St. Olaf and her stepfather Dean Peterson of there.
Her daughter, Sylvia, 3, riding in a safety seat in the car, suffered chest bruises. David Beck, 33, of Littleport, another passenger in the car, was admitted to Delaware County Hospital, Manchester, where he was reported in stable condition.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Schutte Funeral Home, Postville.
