Dennis Kim Drahn, 52, of McGregor, Iowa, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007 at his home.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct.24, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, both in McGregor.
Friends could call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Thornburg-Hanson Funeral Home in McGregor and one hour prior to services at the church.
Dennis was born May 28, 1955, at McGregor, to Roger and Virginia (Denning) Drahn. He graduated from MFL High School and attended Northeast Iowa Tech in Calmar, and Southwest Tech at Fennimore, Wis. He worked for Farmersburg Implement, M's Machine & Manufacturing in Monona, in shipping, receiving, and material handling. He also worked as a meat cutter.
He is survived by two daughters: Milisa Andrews of Boonville, Mo., and Jessie (Jeremy) Nagel of Soldiers Grove, Wis.; step-daughter Bobbi Jo (Billy) Reames of Prairie du Chien, Wis., eight grandchildren: Kennedy, Madison, Ethan. Jayla, Jadence, Brandon, Reanna, and Broderick; sister-in-law Mary Drahn of Farmersburg, his parents, Roger and Virginia Drahn of Monona; two nieces: Casey and Chelsey Drahn; two nephews: Cory (Candace) Drahn and Chandler Drahn, and four great- nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Elmer and June Drahn, R.J. (Bill) Denning, Inez (Denning) Seiglaff and his brother, Rick Drahn.
