Judith D. “Judi” Halvorson of Elkader, Iowa, passed away suddenly Tuesday, December 5, 2006 in Central Community Hospital of Elkader following a brief illness. Her body was cremated.

Judi was born May 3, 1938 to Bill and Aileen Walter of McGregor, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Robert L. “Swede” Halvorson on January 25, 1958 in McGregor. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert “Swede” Halvorson, of Elkader; and she was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Aileen Walter.

Judi always enjoyed a good time and had a wonderful sense of humor and a positive attitude which she displayed even up to the time of her death. She will be missed by her husband and many friends who dearly loved her.

Memorials may be directed to Central Community Hospital Ambulance Fund.
